This page was last updated 9/25/09. Is the status of audio/video recording still the same? We would like to utilize Vyew to record training sessions and make this available “on demand” to our sales team.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

Regarding recording. It is still not available. We are launching our new beta product this week, which has a new technology foundation that will allow us to build the solid recording feature. That is still some months away.

    Good morning,

We are very interested in the recording functionality that you indicated is currently in beta. We would be happy to volunteer as a test group for this functionality should you need that.

    Thanks!

The current recording has been discontinued and we will begin development on a new one in a few months. It should take about a month to do.

  3. I’m using vyew to provide an online office hour for my distance learning students. It would be nice to be able to record sessions so that any examples I do can be viewed by students not attending the office hour or to make it available for review by those that did.

I would also be willing to beta test a recording product as now I have to find one that will work outside of the browser to capture my session.

Sorry we have postponed recording indefinitely for now because of other features we need to work on. You can use Vyew in conjunction with other recording software such as Camtasia or CamStudio.

Hi guys, have you released the recording function yet?

We’ve been waiting for more than a year… any news?
