Resizing the height of page in vyewbook

I found that multiple lines in an equation editor not possible.

One has to insert multiple instances of equation editor for multiple lines.

Due to this I found the default height of book page insufficient.

I request the ability to resize the height of the page of the book.

Is it possible to increase (or decrease) the height of the book page?

To write a mathematical answer (proof) to a problem I need to use many lines of text written in equation editor. I found that each line must be in a separate equation editor plug in. Thus the default height of the book page is insufficient to contain the entire answer (proof).

If the height of the page is increased my problem would be solved (I guess).

mac won’t load my vewybooks…

On my pc, the books load but they will not load on my mac...i have checked the javascript and it is enabled.
Any suggestions?

onnecting finding namespace!

When I go into the meeting it wont load it says connecting finding namespace and it stays there for 2 hours so I know its not working. PLEASE help!

desktop sharing not working

Whenever i load desktop sharing, regardless of what browser i use, it always gives me an error loading java. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to the latest version, however it still doesn’t work. I cannot think of anything else to do, i am currently using firefox, but the error persists regardless if i use internet explorer

also if it helps i am using vista

Imported images don’t display - stuck at Loading…

Hi,

Since about November 17, 2009 15:30 GMT-6, when I click on Import >> Upload from my computer >> select an image >> click Open, the image uploads successfully, but does not display. There is a thin black box with a stuck gray progress meter and the word “Loading...”.

This problem is also present for Vyew sessions that had their images uploaded weeks or months ago and were working fine until today.

Interestingly, if I check the box “Import as an interactive object” then the image displays fine and can be drawn over normally.

I ran the Vyew Java test here and it was successful.

Changing account email address

When I go to account settings and try and change the account email address I receive an error message that says “wrong password”. How might I best go about changing my account email address? Please advise.

Recommendation for getting crisp (easy to read) text after importing .pdf

After importing a .pdf document, I noticed that its conversion to an image (by Vyew) resulted in the text being harder to read.... not as crisp as looking at the document itself.

When I have a .doc or .pdf file, what do you recommend so that when I import it - the text will be as clear and easy to read as possible - looking crisp.

I did find that resizing the image (of the .pdf page) to a larger size seemed to help somewhat, but this was not easy to do.

Suggestions welcomed : )

Optional Notifications on Content Update

While using Vyew with my team the last couple of days I found that I really wanted some way to be notified when someone posted a new chat message.

What I’d like to be able to do is log into our meeting room and minimize the window when things die down a bit. However, if someone posts a question at a later point I’d like a simple notification that this occured.

For an example of the type of alert that would be perfect, please see Google’s new calendar application and the reminders it provides when one of your events is coming up. Very nice.
