Hello, I’m evaluating you product as something we might be able to use. My main need however is to beable to have one of my customers screen share with me so that I can control their desktop. I have seen how I can see their desktop, but I don’t see how I can take control to show them what to do.
Is this important feature just not available?

No, sorry, Vyew does not do remote control.
Remote control is useful, but more of a tech support tool then collaboration.

Vyew enables a user to allow other users to SEE their desktop, but not control it.
You may want to check out logmein.com for desktop control.
