Vyew Discussion Forum

I’ve just signed up for vyew; am able to cause it to operate as documented. 

Am, short-term, intending to use for specific purpose of tutoring mathematics; especially Algebra. 

“Would be nice” if it had a function to, given an equation such as:

x + 3 = 5

accept “any operation” against both sides.  Such as:

add +3; giving x + 6 = 8, or
add -3; giving x = 2

Intent being that student could try both of these; see which one(s) got the job done.  (Real-world equations/operations would be considerably more complex . . )

We have a plugin for Vyew called the Equation Editor.
The plugin menu, which is located inside the VyewBook in the EDIT menu > Insert Plugin.

With the equation editor, you can form complex formulas and equations, fractions, radicals, integrals, etc.
