FLASH PRESENTATIONS - HOW DO I INTERACT WITH ONE

Hello,

I have a SWF file that I normally use for presentations.  While I can load the file OK, I cannot figure out how to interact with the control buttons (FFoward, Stop, Play, etc) so that I can control the presentation.  Is this possible or do I just have to let the FLASH file run until completion?

Thanks,

Don

Hi,

When uploading a SWF file, before you select your file, click the “Advanced” link. Some more options will open up, near the bottom you should see a checkbox saying “Upload Interactive Object”. This needs to be checked in order to interact with a SWF file that you have uploaded.

NOTE: Any content you upload, will not be automatically synced with other users. So everyone will have to click the play button on their own screen, in order to watch whatever it is you upload.

I am not seeing any advanced button.  Where is the advanced button?

Hi, I’ve attached some images that should hopefully illustrate where this option is. Click the thumbnail below to view it. Just so you know, the wording in the application has changed slightly since my last post, so perhaps that’s where the confusion is coming from.

Thanks

I am having the same problem here.
I can import the flash file (as an interactive element), but still can’t see controls to stop and resume playing.

Hi,

Vyew does not add controls to flash files, it only displays whatever is in the flash file. So if the flash file does not have built-in controls, then you will not be able to control it within Vyew.
