first of all i would like to thank you people for this great tool you are offering for free.

i’m planning to use it extensivly, but the only barrier that i am facing is that no voice is available for participants to hear ..

not everyone is willing to make an international call to listen to something that might go for hours.. is there any solution for such a problem? a solution that is practical for everyone with a browser ...

the only thing i am thinking of at the moment is using PalTalk at the same time .. all participants should log in the meeting + paltalk room in order to hear me at the sametime ... this is not practical but the only solution that is might not costly ..

any comments/ideas?

Many people use Skype and Vyew together.  We also have a freeconference phone number at the bottom right of the chat box you can use.

We are exploring how to integrate Skype and other Video/Voice solutions into Vyew.  As soon as we have something more integrated I will post up and let people know.

are there any updates about the voice thingy?

skype is great but the problem is that some countires block it becuase of telecommunication rights issues… plus webex and other web conferencing companies provide the voice builtin feature just to save time/effort..etc of calling a free number which is not free for international users.

Actually, we are looking at some partners, (even have some test code) but with the release of 2.5 coming, its been put on a bit of the back burner.  We will announce on our blogs once we have something in place.

I love this idea is anyone having issues using these two programs Skype and Vyew together?
Also I was wondering if their was a way for participants in chat mode of vyew to post a picture icon with their name.

Lately, our call-in number has only allowed two people on the line at one time.
