Yeaa!!  Finally, I figured this thing out.  Screen capture and desktop share will now work on the Mac using Safari. I tested using a really old Mac G3. Its slow of course, but still, it works.  I put the new code in both V1 and V2.
For some reason firefox will not kick off java nor will java and javascript talk correctly on firefox.  For now I’m not going to worry about it, but if anyone can post an example of firefox starting java and then java talking to javascript, then I will have a look at the example code and see what I can do to support firefox on Mac.

Just FYI on this problem. I was able to register in Safari and then it worked fine from then on in Firefox (version 2.0.2)!! Both screen sharing and screen capture worked.
