I was wondering what is done about network security ?  Can my information that is being sent across the internet be sniffed?  Is the information encrypted ?  Also, how do I now that my information on the severs is secure during my meeting and safely removed when I leave a conference ?

Your login and payment information is encrypted and secure, your meeting information is not.
Your meeting information is as safe as any other information you send online such as email and instant messenger, in other words, its not protected at this time. Sniffing Vyew traffic is not as easy as sniffing email or instant messages because of the data format it is in, but for a motivated technical person with time on their hands it is possible.

Regarding security of your stored information after the meeting is over—The data is purged from the real-time meeting servers after a meeting is over and sent to our private database servers which is protected from unauthorized use.

Currently we only offer a secure version for our enterprise customers who buy the Vyew Appliance.
We are also working on a secure completely encrypted version of Vyew for our normal Vyew application which we hope will be due out in Q2 or 2009.

Also, for someone to ‘sniff’ your traffic, they need to have access to one of the servers in between your PC and Vyew’s server. (Unless you are using an unencrypted WiFi connection, in which case they would need to be physically near to you to pick up the same signal as you). Both of these are very unlikely to happen in practice. But if you have information that is that valuable that people are going to great lengths to steal it, then you may be interested in having your company purchase our Enterprise appliance.
