I get this error whenever I try to upload a powerpoint file into my room.

I am clicking on “import file” on the toolbar, then when it pops up the dialogue I select “Browse”.  I am choosing a small (two page) ppt file, saved from PowerPoint 2003.  When a click “Upload” there is a little pause, then the error message.

The file appears in the “My Files” list, but with a stange “cog” logo and will not open.

This seems to happen with all the ppt files I have.

Apart from this (and not being able to share / view mouse pointers) this is an awesome web app you have going on here.  Mouse pointer sharing is key when you are doing remote demos of websites, which is a big use scenario for me.

Thanks a lot

Does this still happen?  If so, send me a private email with your room number username/password and I will check into it.

Aha.  It works fine if I use IE.  I was using Firefox 2.0, where I still get the error.  I’ll mail you a ppt file, but i don’t think that’s the issue as it works OK with IE.

Thanks

Pretty odd.  I just tried your file and it worked in Firefox.
