Quick question: Which voice codecs do you support? Do you support Speex?

Hi Bjorn,

We use codecs that are supported by the Flash Player. The Flash Player only supports two codecs for broadcasting audio, Nelly Moser and Speex. Flash Player also supports decoding other codecs, but not for broadcasting, so we can’t use them.

Why do you ask?

I am doing some initial research on conferencing companies and their capabilities for my company for a possible partnership providing conferencing service with a product of ours. Do you support SIP clients as participants into your conferences? How many participants can you have in one conference at the same time? I see some numbers like 150 in the pricing area of your website, but it also says that you can add more?

Our official public version on vyew.com does not currently support connecting directly to SIP. However it is technically possible, and we may be able to work something out. Please send an email to Henry at with as much details as you can about your requirements.
