Hi!  Is anyone else finding the resolution is exactly the same on low, medium or high settings?

Also, experienced terrible latency and audio breaking up last night between 8-9 Eastern.

Anyone else experiencing problems?

I also notice grainy video feeds regardless of “broadcast quality” settings.  Would love to hear how or when this can be improved; for various reasons it is kind of a deal breaker, and my company is aggressively seeking a videoconferencing solution and I personally am championing Vyew.

Any official response on this issue?

Here’s the official answer I got… they were very good at responding quickly to all my questions:

The difference in video resolution isn’t visible on the broadcaster’s end, but it should be on the viewer’s. Admittedly, the ‘high’ setting isn’t really all that high. The webcam in Vyew is really intended to be just a supplement to the activity in the whiteboard and it’s contents, but we’ve gotten a LOT of requests for higher def video that something’ll have to be done about it. It’s on the list, but not the timeline yet, though.

...BUT… sorry Vyew… I have found a superb program with HD video and audio that is a very reasonable price and beats anything on the Internet right now… it’s Voxwire Gold… go to http://www.voxwire.com AND… it is completely compatible with every computer type running Adobe Flash Player.

I am on a 14 day free trial and it is simply stunning!  Beats WebEx handsdown… I just cancelled WebEx because of so many problems as they are no longer compatible with Macs and I had over 30 crashes in my last WebEx meeting!

As much as I also liked Vyew… Voxwire Gold is NEW and is simply the best solution for us right now… it just came out on February 2nd.

Hi Jo-Ann,
How has your experience been with Voxwire Gold? We were on the old Voxwire and it was terrible, constant latency issues. Bob at Voxwire assured me that they had made progress on that but I’m skeptical (which is why I’m here).

Anyone else have issues on Vyew with audio latency? That’s the #1 issue for me.

Yep, latency is more than ever now, not sure why.
