Hi,
I’m new to vwye and currently using the free version. Can I record my online lessons? If yes, how?

Sorry, Vyew’s recording feature is being revamped and isn’t working right now. You can try Vyew in conjunction with other recording software such as CamStudio (http://camstudio.org/), Camtasia (http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/), or on Linux, xvidcap (http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net/). CamStudio is not free (as in $0.00), the other two are.

Thank you very much for the replay. It would be very nice if I had this possibility as watching the lesson will help me evaluate it better. I’ll check the other recording software you suggest. Thanks again :)

I would also like to see recording facilities.
As it is being revamped at the moment can i assume there will be some in the future?

Any timescales?

FYI: These desktop recording programs can usually record sound live (e.g. via a plugged-in mic), but I’ve had problems recording sound that’s being played by the computer.
