We are running an online education service to provide interaction between the student and teacher.

We are currently looking for a solution which enables our existing application to have capabilities like to share documents, text chat (one to one, one to many) between teacher and student in real time manner, as achieved by VYEW. We also need video and audio communication for our application. Please explain us how we can do it by using VYEW.

We would like to know following things.

->how we can integrate vyew into our existing
application as a component or API.

->how network performance will be affected when number of concurrent users grow in a meeting.

->Is VYEW implemented on Flash media Server
Technology?

And if possible please share us how much time your team had taken to develop this wonderful web service.

Vyew does not have an API to be used in other programs, although we are working on a API to allow others to write programs to work in vyew.

We are, however, working a ‘vyewlet’ that will allow users to place a small lightweight vyew window in there web pages.  This should be complete at the same time we release vyew 2.0.

as for the number of users, it really depends on what you are doing.  If you are doing a presentations, the system will support a very large number.  If eveyone is using the whiteboard at exacly the same time, then it will slow down a bit.

and sorry, I cannot take about the details of the servers are are using and the time it took for us to create this system, but in general, a lot. :)
