We are doing a testrun on how we can allow our tutors to be familiar with Vyew.  Naturally, we would want them only in one site or book for supervision and quality control and so that we are only promoting one site or “one school”.

There is a FREE conference call button limited only to USA users and that charges would apply to other areas.  With VOIP this may not be necessary but just the same, the button is there (although it could be hidden/ unhidden). 

1.  If somebody could unhide and use it, charges will be to our account or telephone number.  If so, HOW DO WE DISABLE THIS BUTTON?

2.  Will not checking the free conference call number in the invite be sufficient to disable the free conference call?

By the way, for accounting purposes of our tutoring sessions, it would be useful if there is a plug-in or if the book activity log has a dialog box where individual tutors/pupil could input their USDollar rate per hour and it would be useful if this book activity log has an extension next to the each tutor/pupil total session log for the total computed amount and a summary page with breakdown for each tutor/ pupil.  Is this option/plug-in possible?

Hi, we do not charge anything to your account for using the free conference call number. That disclaimer is simply there, because some people have to pay for long-distance telephone numbers, so if they called that number, they might get charges on their own phone bill, from their own phone company, not any charges from Vyew or Free Conference Call.

If you still want to disable the conference call number, simply log into your meeting, then go to Main Menu -> Account Settings, and click the ‘Edit’ button next to “Conference Call:”. The setting will take effect the next time you connect to your meeting.

This may not necessarily “disable” it—to clarify—just replace the conf. call number with a blank number.
