Uploading Mult-Page Content becomes Linked

When mult-page content is uploaded (such as a Word Doc, Powerpoint or PDF), it becomes multiple pages in the VyewBook (meeting space). Those multi-page documents also become linked. If you left-click on one of them, you will notice in the context-sensitive menu there is a red LINK icon.

Important

When documents are linked, then resizing or moving them will affect all of them.

When mixing documents in one VyewBook

If you upload 2 separate documents into one VyewBook, each document has its own pages linked to themselves.
When you resize one page, all other pages of that particular document is resized, but not the other document.

Does the same bode true on multi-worksheet excel files?

In my first attempt to import a multi-worksheet excel file, only the worksheet that is viewed upon opening the file was imported

No, at this time, only the first worksheet come in to Vyew when importing Excel. The best way to work around this, is use Vyew to take screenshots of the other worksheets.

what is the best way up upload an excel spreadsheet with multi tabs

rich.bliton on May 15 at 12:02 PM

Currently the best way would be to use Vyew built-in screenshots to capture each worksheet (tabs).  We are looking into other better ways for the future.

I cannot upload powerpoint. Do I need to separate the powerpoint into separate page files or take screenshots?

Normally you do not need to separate files. But if the powerpoint is large (30+ pages or 20+ Mb), or if there are complex graphics in the powerpoint, such as a lot of images, drawings, or gradients (fades), you may need to: (1) Split the powerpoint into small page chunks and import each chunk, or (2) take screenshots of the powerpoint.
